And serious question, how many of you actually give flying f*ck about Lightning? Shes not even a good character and shes a terrible main character.

Don't really like that Lightning is solo either. The paradigm system works best when you have three characters (three human characters), which is why XIII is still the best version of the battle system. I guess they're changing it heavily, but eh...
At least the trilogy no one asked for is coming to an end.
Why make a trilogy of you're worst game ? at least make it have some interesting things. Final Fantasy x-2 Story was horrendous but everything else was fantastic. Except for the no blitzball.

to be honest the tweaks on making it a bit faster and smoother in 13-2 made it better pokemon system aside.

Dont know if its just Lightning yet. That might be the case. MIGHT since you can customize her a whole lot. Also they added blocking

Just because you didnt like the games dosent mean their bad.. i loved both and cannot wait for this new one.. you dont like it dont pay attention to it, very easy

That might just means that there isn't much reason to explore.

It was faster in the sense they made things easier so you could auto-battle your way through most encounters and finish quickly. Which I don't think was a good thing, obviously. XIII had a better rhythm to its battles, and the better challenge (placing more emphasis on paradigm shifting).
And of course, it didn't have dumb monsters for a third party member.

I don't know why they couldn't have just left it at XIII. It wasn't the best final fantasy but it wasn't too bad (I enjoyed it second time through surprisingly). FFXIII-2 was garbage, they didn't need to carry on the story. I would rather they spent the time working on FFXIII Versus or FFXV. Oh well.

Anyhow... it doesn't change the fact that 13 is their worst in the series as far as i know. Even if you and a lot of other people enjoyed the game they could have made one everyone could have enjoyed.. it would have been a better market decision and would boost up their tarnished reputation.
